The Archives Italiennes de Biologie have been founded in 1882 and represent the oldest Italian Journal of Biology and Physiology, now a Journal of Neuroscience. The Archives publish original contributions in the fields of Neuroscience, which can include neurophysiology, experimental neuroanatomy and electron microscopy, neurobiology, neurochemistry and behavioral science. Following the tradition of the Archives the contributions can be written in either English or French, according to the choice of the Author. Papers from any country will be considered for publication.
The Archives Italiennes de Biologie are included among the collections of biomedical periodicals screened and indexed in Current contents - Life sciences and in Embase/Excerpta Medica database EMBASE.
